Welcome to the Airway Lead landing page, proudly hosted by the Society for Airway Management.
We are an international, multidisciplinary, and growing community of practitioners united with a shared commitment to improving the safety and effectiveness of difficult airway management. The Airway Lead Initiative is designed to connect individuals interested in developing institutional programs, policies, and committees dedicated to advancing airway safety, education, and quality improvement.
Our goal is to establish a national network of leaders with deep knowledge of airway practice guidelines and a passion for promoting evidence-based standards of care. Each of us has firsthand experience establishing Airway Lead programs within our own institutions, and we are pleased to offer our collective expertise to support your efforts.
